Shankar Sankaran, Prof.
PhD (Management), MEng (Systems Engineering), is a Professor of Organizational Project Management at the University of Technology Sydney in Australia. He teaches Systems Thinking at a Master of Project Management Course at his University. He has published books and journal articles on systems thinking. A book he has co-edited and written chapters in is ‘A Guide to Systems Research: Philosophy, Processes and Practice’ published by Springer. He is the editor of the Management and Organization Section of the forthcoming Springer Handbook of Systems Science. Shankar founded the Action Research SIG at the International Society for the Systems Sciences and is currently the society’s President Elect. Shankar’s research interests are in organizational project management, systems thinking and action research.
