THE INTERDISCIPLINARY LOUNGE OPENS ITS DOORS NOT ONLY IN BERLIN

The Interdisciplinary Lounge builds on the salon tradition of the 19th century when gentry and the growing middle class of the bourgeoisie started to mix and mingle promoting liberal humanistic ideals and progressive democratic values. For more than 10 year the Interdisciplinary Lounge ventures the interspaces between the various fractions, tribes and silos in society.

Awarded “Landmark in the Land of Ideas” in 2009 for its lounge series in Berlin the Interdisciplinary Lounge opens its doors now wherever interested partners like to host interdisciplinary dialogue.

THE EUSG DIALOGUE FORUM: PEOPLE FIRST

The EUSG Dialogue Forum provides a platform for internal and external stakeholder dialogue, for reflection, learning and ever bolder ambitions. Beyond faculty sessions, advisory board meetings or alumni network gatherings the EUSG wants to be a role model for interdisciplinary dialogue starting with meaningful conversations. This is why we put people first and agendas second.

DEBATE IS GOOD, DIALOGUE IS BETTER

Democracy should not be reduced to political debate. Especially in a two-party system a Yes/No questions debate tends to lock in, builds a frontline and produces winners and losers.

In contrast dialogue is all about sharing, listening, understanding and learning, and it is about co-creation enrichen all parties involved
