Eben Anuwa-Amarh
is the Chairman of the Informal Economy Technical Team in Ghana and a former Commissioner at the National Development Planning Commission. He is a senior faculty member of the Institute of Development and Technology Management, Ghana. His research interests are in the areas: Informal Economy, Entrepreneurship and Inclusive Growth.
Given that informal employment is complex, hydra-headed and growing globally, Anuwa-Amarh works with communities, who are not naturally drawn to entrepreneurship, to co-create and execute systems thinking strategies based on critiqued inherent social values, prevailing norms and patterns of thoughts. In so doing, communities are empowered through searching, learning and interactions with state and non-state agents to produce resilient entrepreneurial outcomes.
