Dr. Rehema Msulwa
is a Research Associate in Infrastructure at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) in the UK where she recently completed her PhD in Business and Management. Before this, she trained as an Applied Economist at the University of Cape Town (UCT) in South Africa. Her research is interdisciplinary and focuses on the interplay between infrastructure provision, urban development and regeneration, and the opportunities and challenges associated with creating livable and productive cities. With a particular focus on transportation projects, her work reflects the technical, financial, political and environmental factors affecting and affected by the movement of people and goods.
Previously, Dr. Msulwa has worked at the African Development Bank in Côte d’Ivoire and at the Human Sciences Research Council – South Africa’s statutory research institution.
