Background: Within GIZ an Open Regional Fund for the MENA region was established, within which a project is being implemented in partnership with the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs. The project aimed to develop various scenarios for Jerusalem’s future in different developmental sectors.
Objectives and Results: One main component of this initiative was the scenario development. With a core group of the project, different scenarios for East Jerusalem’s socio-economic future have been developed. Therefore eusg experts were requested to support the process by facilitating the whole scenario development process as well as training the core members and other selected participants in using Parmenides EIDOS in order to carry out scenario development processes themselves.
