Background: IOM’s Migrants Assistance Division is improving and developing global, regional and country level responses to protect and assist migrants in need, including those who have been victims of trafficking, exploitation and abuse.
Objectives and Results: Eusg was asked to support the development of the divisions’ strategic plan which took effect at the beginning of 2013 (3-5 year horizon) by facilitating a two-day workshop with key stakeholders from inside and outside of the division. Based on a group analysis of the experiences with executing the current strategic plan, the current institutional and environmental developments and changes as well as the political landscape, a high level strategic direction and action plan was developed.
